The Oct. 17 session of the Institute for Retired People (IRP) will feature Jennifer Coman, executive director of Sarah House, a lodging for relatives of adult patients seeking medical treatment outside their own community. It is the only residence of its kind in the Syracuse area. She will discuss the organization’s history, uniqueness, and plans for the future.

Coman has been the executive director since 2010. She oversees the operational management, volunteer coordination, budget, and fund development for the organization.

Prior to her position at Sarah House, Coman was an intake coordinator at St Joseph’s Hospital Health Center.
