Who is Eligible?

Matriculated returning UC part-time undergraduates who progress in their degree programs with an overall GPA of at least 2.0.

Scholarship Details

Grant levels correspond to specific academic levels as described in the chart below. Awards range from $300 to $400. Students may be awarded a grant for academic achievement as they progress in their studies—with cumulative GPA in ranges 2.0 to 2.99 and above 3.0—as well as in academic levels—non-matriculated to matriculated, freshman to sophomore, sophomore to junior, and junior to senior. Grants are awarded regardless of financial need.

 

$300 Freshman to Sophomore with an overall 2.0-2.999 GPA
  Sophomore to Junior with an overall 2.0-2.999 GPA
  Junior to Senior with an overall 2.0-2.999 GPA
  Non-matriculated to Matriculated with an overall 2.0-2.999 GPA
$400 Freshman to Sophomore with an overall 3.0 and above GPA
  Sophomore to Junior with an overall 3.0 and above GPA
  Junior to Senior with an overall 3.0 and above GPA
  Non-matriculated to Matriculated with an overall 3.0 and above GPA

Grants are awarded one time for each academic level—at the first term of enrollment when the student changes academic levels. Separate application not required.

Note to students also receiving other merit and/or need-based financial aid: Grants are “tuition specific”:  the UC P.A.C.E. Grants together with merit and/or need-based UC tuition grant or scholarship may not exceed the cost of tuition.
