There are FOUR great seasons for taking classes at SU now – Fall, Spring, Summer AND Winter! Four summer sessions are available from May until August, and now there is a Winterlude Online session that runs during winter break, as part of the spring term.   Winterlude is a great opportunity to earn three credits while enjoying the comforts of home!

Students in Summer

Summer

Summer is a separate term at Syracuse University, consisting of four sessions that run from May until August. Classes are taught in a variety of formats. Registration incurs summer tuition charges. Summer courses for 2017 are offered during 4 sessions:

  • MAYmester: May 15 – 26
  • Session I: May 22 – June 30
  • Session II: July 3 – August 11
  • Combined Session: May 22 – August 11

Winter

Syracuse University’s Winterlude session is part of the spring term and features classes covering a wide variety of topics, and they’re all online! Earn three credits in just four weeks, and boost your GPA, prepare for study abroad, or – if you’re a visiting student – transfer the credits to your home college. Winter break has never been so productive, without leaving home! Winterlude is considered a spring session.  Classes count toward your maximum unit level for the spring term.   Classes require payment of additional tuition charges. If you receive financial aid, consult with your financial aid counselor prior to registration. Winterlude classes are open to SU and non-SU students, both full- and part-time. Winterlude Online
